With the announcement that New Zealand will be moving to Level 4 on the evening of Wednesday 25th March 2020, we have been working hard over the past 24 hours to understand the definition of "Essential Services" and our required place in New Zealand’s supply chain.
To support our customers classified as "Essential Services" we will be maintaining a limited staff to continue the manufacture of essential goods, required for the health and well-being of New Zealanders.
The definition we are currently using for this covers FMCG hygiene products, including hand sanitizers, cleaning products, hand and body washes, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants and other face/body cleaning products. We will be monitoring this definition to ensure we meet our obligations as a supplier and a responsible employer.
Our number one priority remains the health and safety of our staff, their families and communities and we are committed to ensuring we can work safely and effectively over the next four weeks.
We are working closely with our supply chain partners to ensure we are able to meet demands for these products over this time and do not currently envisage any issues, although as things progress we will keep you informed.
If you do have orders in our system that fit into this category please contact Paul or Liam to let us know if you would like these to be manufactured during this period.
All our office staff who are able to work from home will be doing so over this time, so please get in touch if you have any questions or require assistance.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding over this time. Stay safe, look after yourselves and we'll see you on the other side!
